Bootleg Abba

Bootleg Abba are arguably one of the worlds top ABBA tribute bands.
From their earliest performances in 1998 including the run up to the Eurovision Song Contest in the UK for The BBC’s Really Useful, show through to their wide rage of concert shows in England, France and the rest of Europe during 2009 Bootleg Abba pride themselves of giving the audience a taste of what it was like to have experienced Abba performing during the 1970’s.
Along with the recent ‘Mamma Mia The Movie’ phenomena, Bootleg Abba’s show brings to you all the fun and emotion of ABBA’s timeless and classic hits.

Bootleg Abba

Bootleg Abba formed in 1998 and since their first concert at London’s ‘Forum’ they have performed to great acclaim all over the world. Their concerts have seen them travel throughout the UK, Europe and along the way they have appeared on the same bill as world class entertainers Tony Christie, The Gipsy Kings and Leo Sayer. In France, Bootleg Abba have appeared at the prestigious Casino de Paris (during its history the venue has played host to many world class entertainers such as Maurice Chevalier, Josephine Baker, and Serg Gainsbourg). Bootleg Abba's reputation for delivering a superior tribute show has taken them to the Middle East and as far as Kazakhstan.

In 2010 they were asked to perform at the Singapore formula 1 Grand Prix alongside
Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot and Adam Lambert.

The music of ABBA has continued to be the most enjoyed and sought after entertainment since their emergence at the Eurovision song contest in 1974 through to the phenomenal success of the ‘Mamma Mia’ movie. Abba are now quite simply as much a part of music culture as Mozart or The Beatles.

with Bootleg ABBA the legend continues...
