Saxophonist Ben has performed sax all over the UK with many artists and DJs, and has played at some top venues and festivals including Glastonbury and Cheltenham Jazz Festivals

Ben gained an impressive status due to his dedication and determination. He has rapidly built a rapport with both his audiences and nightclubs across the country. His energy filled performances have guided him to several residences around Leeds and Birmingham. Under the tuition of Jamiroquai’s saxophonist Jim Corry and international Jazz artist Joel Purnell, Ben graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Jazz at Leeds College Of Music and was awarded the Dave Cooper Memorial Prize for Jazz Saxophone. Ben has recorded several tracks with Stuart Ojelay and James Garrett, of which have gained national recognition. Heavily influenced by Jazz, Funk and Soul, Ben has acquired a unique and distinctive sound that mesmerises his audience. Winter 2011 saw Ben perform his first international gig in Azerbaijan with Prestigious house label, Hed Kandi at the young age of 20. Since then, Ben accomplished a national reputation with House DJ’s and is currently performing with many other live musicians on the circuit.

The Party Popperz‘s show is based on the high colour, high impact sounds of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s from artists as diverse as David Bowie, Queen, Madness, Sweet, Prince, Showaddywaddy and all the way through to Tom Jones and The Bee Gees. Each artist impersonated is performed in fully authentic costume by the brilliant and charismatic Chris Fielding. In fact, when required we can perform British classics from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘00s that influenced or were influenced by Britpop.
