Bob Gessey leads the band on vocals, guitar and the five-string banjo. Bob is an award-winning singer and songwriter who has graced the airwaves on local and BBC radio. His talent is matched by his mastery of fingerstyle acoustic guitar and allows him to sing and play with ease. Bob is also a natural frontman and his laidback style and sense of humour enamour him to any crowd.

Alan Garwood plays the guitar and mandolin with almost clinical cleanliness. Time-perfect sweeps up and down the fretboard make him quintessential to the band and a master at playing country music from across the century.

Stuart Neal brings variety to the band and the multi-instrumentalist has mastered playing the guitar in several formats. From pedal steel guitar to the dobro, Stuart is capable of speeding along with upbeat numbers and bringing emotion to slower, soulful numbers.

Alan Nicholls rounds out the band behind the drums. His years of experience and a wide range of playing styles make him the bedrock of the band, capable of keeping time with anybody.

His energy filled performances have guided him to several residences around Leeds and Birmingham. Under the tuition of Jamiroquai’s saxophonist Jim Corry and international Jazz artist Joel Purnell, Ben graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Jazz at Leeds College Of Music and was awarded the Dave Cooper Memorial Prize for Jazz Saxophone. Ben has recorded several tracks with Stuart Ojelay and James Garrett, of which have gained national recognition. Heavily influenced by Jazz, Funk and Soul, Ben has acquired a unique and distinctive sound that mesmerises his audience. Winter 2011 saw Ben perform his first international gig in Azerbaijan with Prestigious house label, Hed Kandi at the young age of 20. Since then, Ben accomplished a national reputation with House DJ’s and is currently performing with many other live musicians on the circuit.

Cris was also a finalist in Guitarist magazine for guitarist of the year. He writes original songs and over the years has accumulated incredible skills in all genres of guitar styles. Jazz, gypsy jazz, classical, rock. He is passionate about guitars and it really shows in his playing.

Celine and Cris originally got together 10 years ago for an act called Montparnasse, specialising in French and Spanish music. Montparnasse released several albums commercially with Celine as the lead vocalist. She plays the bass and features on the studio album by Americana band Keep Me Posted. Celine is a classically trained flautist from the Paris Conservatoire.

Keith Slater has been a professional musician since 1981 and has toured extensively around the British Isles. He has recorded with well-known bands such as the 60’s group – Mike Sheridan and the Nightriders, the nationally acclaimed folk act The Fastest Bat and Lancashire comedian Phil Cool.

He has appeared on national TV shows – Pebble Mill at One, The Tom O’Connor Show, The Barmaids Arms, and The Phil Cool Show. His music has been played on Radio One, Radio Two, and Local radio.

Keith regularly works with well-known artistes Carl Chinn (Birmingham historian), Malcolm Stent, Don Maclean, and award-winning bands Inheritance and Vivo where he sings, plays guitar, drums, violin, and harmonica – obviously not all at the same time!!

Keith has multiple shows available from superb acoustic sets perfectly suited to restaurant and wedding type events, to swing shows and also a celebration of the 60s show.

The Stone Roses were one of the most influential rock bands from England, active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Along with other bands such as the Happy Mondays and Inspiral Carpets, they comprised the core of the Madchester Baggy scene, centred around Manchester, England. Their 1989 eponymous debut album quickly achieved the status of a classic in the UK, and topped NME’s list of the Greatest Albums of All Time.

Their songs adorn many a student disco to this day and the classic hits they produced stand the test of time better than most bands from that era. They released a second album, Second Coming, in 1994 before disbanding due to artistic disagreements in 1996. Adored – their definitive tribute, reproduce the sound and atmosphere the originals created with such detailed accuracy, you’d think the Roses had climbed on stage beside them!

She served her apprenticeship performing with local talent and various tribute bands, with the primary focus to ensure everyone has a great time dancing the night away. Her career has gone from strength to strength, performing by request as the support act for legends such as Sir Joe Longthorne, The Three Degrees, Boney M, Gareth Gates, Bernie Clifton and Ray Quinn.

Helen now performs regularly as the headline act, securing numerous prestigious bookings at established entertainment venues, hotels, golf & football clubs, she has also been supported locally performing at Wednesbury Townhall.

Many Local charities use Helen for their events as her professionalism, care, and good nature ensures a fantastic show, with a packed-out dancefloor. Helen has helped raise over £25,000 for various charities including, McMillian, St. Giles hospice, Newcross coronary care and the list is ongoing!

Dawn is a fabulously talented singer who recreates the fun, mystery and magic of the Bond films on her live stage show, performed in her own unique style. A professional performer, Dawn, has supported acts such as Ruby Turner, Des O’Connor, Bobby Davro and Canon and Ball. While performing with the Rat Pack at a James Bond themed event held at The Houses of Parliament, Dawn devised this unique show.

Dave often works with big bands and has performed with swing big bands at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s on many occasions.

Dave is also in demand as a sports presenter and interviewer and has worked for Aston Villa Football Club for many years hosting their hospitality suites on match days interviewing players and TV personalities, utilising his comedy skills.

Parklife, Don’t Look Back In Anger, She Bangs The Drums, The Riverboat Song, There She Goes, Bitter Sweet Symphony, Disco 2000, The Only One I Know, Hush… these are just some of the Britpop Anthems we authentically perform; and there’s plenty more where that came from.

In fact, when required we can perform British classics from the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘00s that influenced or were influenced by Britpop. Ollie has built a solid reputation as a reliable funny man who always gives 100%. His off-stage manner and demeanour make him great company in a social situation.

In his career Ollie has done so many varied things including Rock ‘n’ Roll bands working with many major bands i.e. The Beatles, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Moody Blues and of course ELO (which in the early days also featured Roy Wood) etc. In 1980 Ollie left the music scene and his solo career took him into T.V. working as a “warm-up man” on Tiswas & The Premiership, The Eamon Holmes Sports Programme and on shows featuring Jimmy Cricket, Gary Wilmot, etc.

Ollie has become a very popular after dinner comedian, with his easy delivery of both observational and topical material. His scrapbooks are full of many memories of some of his fellow speakers from Jonah Lomu to Jack Charlton, Best to Law, Bayfield to Cowdrey, Willy John McBride to The Honourable Dennis Howell plus many, many more.

Ollie is a great asset to any occasion and looks forward to helping to make your function a memorable one.

Two of their musicians have been playing together for over 28 years and have a vast amount of experience in playing clubs and holiday camps, etc. Over the years they have built up a good following and wherever they play they are always rebooked.
