Dave Chance has for many years entertained on some of the world’s great cruise liners, including cruises for &O, Fred Olsen, Saga, Island Cruises, Classic International Cruise and Travelscope. He was one of the few entertainers chosen to entertain on the P&O Canberra’s final cruise and has recently returned from Brazil entertaining on a cruise liner for the Rio carnival.
Dave has also proved very popular as a theatre and club entertainer, his versatile voice and comedy skills combined with a warm personality have attracted many admirers of all ages. He has performed in most of the country’s top theatre venues from Fairfield Halls, Croyden to the Alexandra Theatre Birmingham as well as most of the Apollo theatre circuit. Dave often works with big bands and has performed with swing big bands at the world famous Ronnie Scott’s on many occasions.
Dave is also in demand as a sports presenter and interviewer and has worked for Aston Villa Football Club for many years hosting their hospitality suites on match days interviewing players and TV personalities, utilising his comedy skills.
Dave regularly performs for the Sinatra Music Society, the official Frank Sinatra Fan Club of Great Britain, performing the songs of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Matt Monro, Dean Martin, and any more great standards from the world’s great crooners. He was asked by Harvey Goldsmith to show how entertainment shows should be presented for a TV documentary.
Dave chance can work fully self-contained or with live backing and has musical arrangements for all size bands from a duo through to a 17-piece big band. He is the ideal entertainer for cruise liners or corporate events and can perform an ultra clean and politically correct performance of vocal’s and comedy.
